Review: I don’t have any words for how I feel about this last book. Like I’m happy but also sad. I do have feelings towards this book, but they are mixed.
First, the positives.
It’s nice to see how solid this final book is. Sometimes it’s hard to find a book that has a solid ending like this one.
I loved that these characters had their final development. It was nice to see Gansy admit his relationship with Blue to Adam. I thought that was a good decision on his part. The fact Adam and Ronan became a couple made me so happy. Henry was a good I understand his purpose as I read more of the book, but he did feel like he was there to fill Noah’s spot.
Like usual, Maggie’s dialogue and writing were perfect. A good amount of the dialogue made me laugh out loud.
Now onto negatives.
The beginning of this book was so hard to get through. It was kind of boring. The next thing was the ending. Everything got wrapped up so fast. Next thing I knew everything was fine and Gansy was alive. So I just sat there confused because I never read about him coming back and that everything was okay. But, instead, we just jumped to the epilogue.
This next thing is not so much a negative but I would have like to have known. What happened to our side characters? I want to know what happened to the Gray Man, Maura, and everyone else. That’s what made the epilogue a bit upsetting for me. I would have liked some closure to know what good has happened to them. I guess that’s what fanfic is for.
Overall, it was a good final instalment, but wasn’t as great as I thought it was going to be. It worth the read if you have yet to read it. It’s basically worth to read if you want to know what happens next.
