Review: I am very surprised at how much I enjoyed this book.

This book made me think one thing was going to happen but then it went into a whole other direction, which I’m happy that it did. I found the idea of the two twins Carys and Andreus taking part in this trial to be interesting because it would test their strong sibling relationship.

The story did start off slow because the world needed to be built, but it’s only when things start happening does it pick up and become interesting. When things start happening things start to unravel and just things happened that made my mouth drop.

The characters were interesting. I especially like the twins and see what path they choose to go on, as well as who to believe when comes to people who tell them things. I enjoyed reading from each twin’s perspective.

The writing was good. I’m glad it was in third person instead of first and didn’t focus on one twin.

This is a solid book and one you should read if the summary interests you.
