Book 2 in The Young Elites Trilogy

Rating: 5/5 Stars

Summary: Since this is the second book in series I won’t be summarizing the book since it would have spoilers.

Be warned there are some spoilers in this review!

Review: First, I want to start by saying I don’t like that I have to wait until October to find out how this trilogy ends.

Anyways, if you have not read this book yet because you didn’t care for The Young Elites, then you still should read this book. It is so much better than The Young elites.

I need to say how much I love Adelia. She acts human in these books, which is nice to see. She doubts herself and does her best to think positive about herself, including what she was doing. I liked seeing that on the page because it made me feel how human she is. The rest of the characters have grown from book one and the new characters are likable. At first, I didn’t care for some of the new characters, but then they became my new favs.

The story keeps getting better. Everything in this book just tells you what is at stake. As well as what will be at stake in the third book.

I found the powers for each character to be really cool. They all felt unique and didn’t feel like their powers were the same or felt overpowered.

Towards the end of this book, you will know that it’s not a good thing to have these powers. That slowly they will kill them or make them go insane. Reading that part made me wonder what would Adelina do. With that info and that cliffhanger ending, I’m starting to question how many will die.

Overall, a nice sequel to a great first book. Can’t wait to see how it all ends.

Have fun reading!!!
