Volume 1 Rating: 5/5 Stars
Volume 2 Rating: 4/5 Stars
Volume 3 Rating: 5/5 Stars
I was very impressed with these three volumes. It reminds of the Tomb Raider games I use to play from when I was younger and up to now, playing the reboot games put out by square-enix.
The story in these volumes is of course out there and doesn’t make sense, but that’s what I always loved about the Tomb Raider games, so while I read these, I enjoyed them too.
There isn’t only one art style presented in these volumes. There’s a variety of different ones, which nice because it makes each issues unique. Though some do have the same art style when it is continuing a story.
With these being graphic novels, it is definitely a fast read. It was nice getting to see Lara’s adventures in a different medium.
I do plan on buying volume 4 to complete my collection.
If you get the chance to get your hands on volume 1, since it seems to out of stock in a lot of place, and your a Tomb Raider fan, then definitely pick these up. These might be able to hold you off until the next game gets released in September.
